The Fragrance Shop offers £1m prize in Christmas competition

Shoppers at The Fragrance Shop could win £1m, courtesy of a Christmas competition.

The UK’s largest independent fragrance retailer is running a Fragrance Prize Draw through December until Christmas Eve, when its last store closes for the festive break.

Anyone who buys a fragrance during the period, either in-store or online at The Fragrance Shop, will have the opportunity to enter into a prize draw to win the top prize of £1,000,000.

Customers also have the chance to win fragrance hampers worth up to £500, a year’s supply of fragrances, a membership reduction, a Scentaddict subscription, and an Every Human experience where customers can create their own unique scent.

After the prize draw closes, everyone who has entered will be put into a draw for their ‘Grand Finale’ event.

One winner will be chosen at random, having the opportunity to attend a Fragrance Shop and play to win £2,500, £10,000, £50,000 or the top prize of £1,000,000.

The Fragrance Shop has over 200 stores nationwide offering over 150 fragrance brands and more than 200 beauty brands.

Competitions are a key tool for marketers to engage customers. Earlier this year, McDonald’s gave customers the chance to win free prizes when they buy fries.

Last year, the Evening Standard and Outernet London announced a competition offering advertisers the chance to win £1 million worth of ad space across outdoor and print.
