Bezzina’s appointment builds on the foundation established by Bill Scott, CEO of Droga5 London, during his tenure as the marketing practice lead for the region. Scott will now focus on leading Droga5 London full time. It also follows Accenture Song’s other recent strategic moves, including the appointment of ex-Google executive Kevin Mathers as the head of go-to-market for the UK, Ireland and Africa and the acquisition of Unlimited to enhance its CRM and customer relevance capabilities.
“Joining Accenture Song is a unique opportunity to shape the future of marketing by uniting creativity and technology at scale,” said Bezzina, “I’m thrilled to partner with this incredible team to drive innovation and deliver transformative outcomes for our clients.”
Sohel Aziz, managing director for the UK, Ireland and Africa at Accenture Song, said, “Rebecca’s leadership, combined with her strategic insight into creativity, customer experience and digital transformation, is a perfect fit for our mission. We look forward to her driving growth and elevating our marketing practice across UKIA.”
