Ben Edwards and Guy Hobbs are set to make a return to creative agency FCB London as executive creative directors.

The multi-award-winning senior creatives’ responsibilities will span FCB London’s entire client portfolio, including brands such as Skoda, Andrex, Intuit Quickbooks and the newly acquired global confectionery brand Perfetti Van Melle.

They will report into to chief creative officer Owen Lee and work closely with ECD Kyle Harman-Turner and will assume their new roles in February 2025.

Edwards and Hobbs’ appointment follows a period of growth for FCB London, with the company securing new business wins, including Perfetti Van Melle and Kellanova’s advantage brands (including Pringles) and launching successful campaigns such as Get Comfortable for Kimberly-Clark’s Andrex.

The pair first teamed up at FCB London eight years ago, producing award-winning work.

They most recently served as ECDs at Wonderhood Studios for nearly three years.

Notable achievements include contributions to the acclaimed This Girl Can campaign for Sport England and the Pay it Forward campaign for The Big Issue, which garnered numerous accolades.

“Everybody loves a boomerang,” said Owen Lee, FCB London’s chief creative officer, “We’ve been wanting to tempt Ben and Guy back ever since they left and now the planets have aligned. They’re super talented, great to work with and a force of positive energy as we move into a new era at FCB.”

Edwards and Hobbs added: “We were absolutely pumped when we were asked to rejoin the gang back at FCB. Over the last couple of years we’ve watched from the sidelines as they’ve bagged the biggest awards out there as well as landing some hugely ambitious and famous brands. The agency feels on the verge of greatness and all we want to do is build on this brilliance. We can’t wait to get stuck in.”
