Omnicom-owned media agency OMD UK has replaced its former head of strategy Hannah Stockton with two managing partners, hiring Helen Barber and Sabina Usher.
The move follows Stockton’s decision to leave the London-based outfit in favour of sustainability start-up EdenLab earlier this year. Barber and Usher will now jointly lead on strategy.
Barber’s appointment sees her promoted from head of strategy for the McDonald’s account, having first joined the agency from Initiative in 2022 where she had worked as group director, strategy and communications design.

Similarly, Usher has been elevated from her role as strategy director having also joined OMD UK in 2022 from rival outfit Mediahub, where she was communications strategy director.
Further appointments were announced as part of the leadership re-shuffle, with Laura Packshaw made head of investment and Lina Angelides taking on a newly-created head of digital planning role.
“The collective expertise of Laura, Lina, Helen and Sabina means we will continue to drive change in the industry and deliver exceptional work for our clients through truly transformative partnerships,” said OMD UK CEO, Suzy Ryder.
