Greater Anglia and Stansted Express appoint lead creative agency

Train operator Greater Anglia and its subsidiary Stansted Express have appointed Atomic London as their integrated creative agency of record following a competitive pitch process.

Retaining the account after a three-way showdown, London shop Atomic will now look to build on its work over the last five years to drive behaviour change amongst key audiences, improve value-for-money perceptions, and break down barriers to more frequent travel.

The agency will also look to generate tangible growth in digital ticket sales and journeys for the operator, with initial campaign activity to be rolled out in the fourth quarter.

“Continuing on from a highly effective five years of working together in partnership, the entire Greater Anglia team is very excited about the future opportunities that Atomic London will bring for both the Greater Anglia and Stansted Express brands. Our ongoing collaboration promises to deliver exceptional results and growth,” Greater Anglia head of commercial development, David Metherell said.

The renewal of the partnership will include the development of a new brand platform and communications for Greater Anglia, in a bid to deliver greater emotional impact, build brand awareness, and improve consideration and net promoter scores.

Atomic London managing director, Louise Rudaizky added: “We’re absolutely delighted to have the opportunity to continue our work with Greater Anglia and Stansted Express.

“It’s a testament to the transformational journey we’ve been on together and the strong partnership we’ve built. We’re excited about the future and looking forward to being part of the further evolution of the Greater Anglia brand.”
