Pablo has appointed Lisa Stoney, previously head of planning at Adam & Eve/DDB as its new deputy chief strategy officer, and Emma Stafford former strategy director at Acne, as planning director.
The deputy chief strategy role is a newly created position for the independent creative agency.
In her previous role at Adam & Eve/DDB, Stoney worked with clients such as Mars Petcare, Eurostar and Lionsgate+.
Before this, she worked as strategy director at AMV BBDO for just over three years, during which time she worked on Guinness campaigns such as “Made of more” and “Welcome back”.
Stoney said: “The chance to be part of an entrepreneurial culture magnified by the magic of Mark, Hannah [Penn], Harriet [Knight], Dan [Watts], Gareth [Mercer] and the already incredible planning team was too strong to resist”.
“I can’t wait to make more magic happen alongside them.”
Stafford spent two-and-a-half years as strategy director at Acne and previously worked at AMV BBDO in the same role and at Havas London as a senior strategist.
She has worked closely with a range of government departments throughout her career, including the Department for Education on the “Every lesson shapes a life” recruitment platform, the Department for Transport on road safety and The Mayor of London to tackle knife crime.
In her new role, Stafford will head up Pablo’s government business, following the agency’s recent appointment by the Metropolitan Police.
