Creative agency Saatchi & Saatchi has appointed Sam Wise as its new executive strategy director, elevating him from his previous role as head of planning.
The move comes as the London firm announces a string of senior appointments, forming part of what it calls a ‘new wave of investment’ into the strategy discipline.
In his new role, Wise will tasked with leading strategy for growth on international brands and new global-reaching briefs. Having initially joined over a decade ago, Wise had led the planning practice since 2016.

Stepping into Wise’s shoes as head of planning will be former strategy partner, Emily Lewis-Keane, who joined the agency last year; while new hire James Addlestone has also been appointed as head of data arts.
“We’re in a period of incredible momentum and as we look to grow our influence and real world impact in 2024, it’s vital that we support the best thinkers in the business to run at the challenges our client partners face,” Saatchi & Saatchi chief strategy officer, Richard Huntington said.
“I’m delighted that James has chosen to join us to help drive our real world insight and data capabilities, and also to see Sam and Emily take on brilliant new challenges.”
