Tesco Mobile has enlisted the star power of ex-Boyzone star Ronan Keating to promote the expansion of its data roaming offering, which now extends to 48 countries.
Renaming the Irish pop sensation ‘Roaming Keating’ in the process, the mobile provider’s new deal will now allow its customers to use their UK minutes, texts and data allowance across these 48 countries at no extra cost through to 2025.
Acting as Tesco Mobile’s ‘Roaming Ambassador’, Keating even changed his name on social media before treating Hemel Hempstead shoppers to an acoustic performance.

Developed by integrated culture agency John Doe, the campaign will see Keating will continue to ‘roam’ around Tesco Mobile stores up and down the UK giving surprise performances and holiday gift cards.
