Fashion brands Hackett London and David Gandy Wellwear have released a sumptuously-shot new ad to celebrate the launch of their collaboration.

Featuring iconic supermodel David Gandy, the 30-second spot showcases different items from Hackett and Wellwear’s all-new luxury loungewear and sleepwear collection.

Developed by Wonderhood Studios’ social-first content studio Wonderhood Makers in its first work for David Gandy Wellwear, the creative is especially significant for Gandy on a personal level, with Hackett being one of first brands he worked with in his early career.

“Through the campaign production, we wanted to visually bring to life the special partnership of these two British brands – combining the rich heritage of Hackett London with the well-being fabric innovation of David Gandy Wellwear,” Wonderhood Studios managing partner, Jo Lumb said.

“The close collaboration with David Gandy and our photographer Arnaldo Anaya-Lucca throughout production allowed us to realise our creative vision, resulting in a campaign that celebrates the traditional Hackett aesthetic, but through a Wellwear lens.”

Centred around the series of fashion vignettes featured within the film, the campaign will also be supported by a series of executions across online and point-of-sale, as well as behind-the-scenes imagery, an interview and social assets.

Gandy himself added“Throughout my career I have always approached everything I do with longevity and authenticity; two values that are synonymous with Hackett London. I have known Jeremy Hackett for many years, Hackett was one of the very first brands I worked with when I started modelling and I have long admired the brand for its rich heritage.”

“I am delighted that as Wellwear’s first collaboration we are partnering with such an esteemed British menswear authority who appreciate the same values that we do. Both brands’ commitment to craftsmanship and quality is second to none, but we approach it from different perspectives which is what makes the collection so unique.”

He continued: “Lounge and sleepwear are categories I have an in-depth knowledge of and a history of commercial success in, so I am delighted to bring that expertise to the table along with Wellwear’s innovative approach to uniting the worlds of style and well-being.”
