South Korean car manufacturer Hyundai is looking to unlock the power of our imagination with a vibrant CGI campaign featuring its new KONA model gliding through a city’s streets.

Centred around a 50-second spot devised by creative agency Innocean Berlin, the film is a visual representation of the power of a child’s imagination, with his all-new KONA toy battling with medieval knights and rampaging dragons.

The integrated omnichannel campaign will run across all major European markets and will be supported by a range of TV, out-of-home and social media executions.

“The all-new KONA comes packed with a range of innovative features that give you almost endless possibilities. A fact that we wanted to communicate with this campaign in an exciting way.

“And what is more exciting than diving into the imagination of a child? All based on our Hyundai Brand Spirit that people’s potential is limitless,” Hyundai Motor Europe marketing director, Laura Rathai said.

Innocean whimsical creative ties in to Hyundai’s ongoing “Live Unlimited” brand platform, showcasing how drivers can experience a renewed sense of freedom when driving its models.

Innocean Berlin chief creative officer, Gabriel Mattar, added: “Chung Ju-yung, the founder of Hyundai once said, the human potential is limitless. Inspired by his legacy, we wanted to remind people that they should never forget they once believed anything was possible.”
