Independent agency Neverland has poached AMV BBDO’s head of strategy Lola Neves as its first chief strategy officer, effective from late August.
In her ten years at AMV BBDO Neves has won numerous awards, including two Grand Prix Lions and a Wood pencil for her ‘Hope Reef’ campaign for Sheba in 2022.
Neves will now lead Neverland’s strategic offering and will work closely with the shop’s two founders, Jon Forsyth and Simon Massey in order to bring its signature combination of brand and creative strategy to all its clients.

“For me it’s all about chemistry. Every single person I’ve met from neverland I’ve clicked with straight away. They all have such a buzz about them and I’m really excited to join the agency and get stuck in,” Neves said.
Neves inially joined AMV BBDO in 2014 as a strategist, working her way up to head of strategy in 2021. Prior to AMV BBDO she worked as an account planner at JWT, now Wunderman Thompson.
Forsyth added: “Lola is the final piece in our super seven talented line up. As a very bright and brilliant person, she will be an awesome part of the agency’s future.”
