Yorkshire Tea has released an upbeat Ibiza club banger to ring in the summer, accompanied by a masterful music video extolling the virtues of a quality brew.
Written by creative agency Lucky Generals and produced and produced by Ninja Tune, the song brilliantly taps into the trend of British taking their favourite tea with them on holiday to ensure a proper cuppa abroad.
Directed by Fred Rowson through Blink, “Pack Yer Bags” lampoons the ‘first holiday’ taken with your friends as a young adult and is peppered with hilarious tea-themed clichés and double entendres.
“At Yorkshire Tea, we believe a proper brew makes a proper difference, and no more so than when you’re on your hols,” Yorkshire Tea assistant brand manager, Carly Murphy said.

“Our latest tea song, brought to life by Lucky Generals, is a celebration of tea, the passion and the lengths that people go to for a decent brew, wherever they might be! Pack your (Tea) bags.”
Set to be supported by paid media executions, the song will even be made available via music streaming platform Spotify.
Lucky Generals creative directors, Nick Bird and Lee Smith, added: “We’ve all been there; parched in Pathos, mouth like a sundried flip-flop, with an inferior hotel teabag mocking you from next to the mini kettle.
“We’re hoping that ‘Pack your bags’ helps put an end to that awful predicament and becomes a mantra that every holidaymaker takes with them wherever they go this summer.”
