Kitchen design brand Magnet appoints agency Croud

Kitchen design specialist Magnet has appointed global digital marketing agency Croud in a bid to ‘spice up’ its digital marketing activity.

After finding success with its enhanced online offering, the brand wishes to strengthen its data analytics capabilities and invest in delivering a more integrated omnichannel experience to its customers, making the journey from online to in-store ‘as seamless as possible’.

Founded in 1918, Magnet has almost 200 showrooms across the country. It hopes to demystify and connect all marketing data with more sophisticated tools, and drive real results for the business through its latest agency appointment.

Croud won the competitive pitch for the brief which includes PPC activity, boosting Magnet’s online presence and driving consumers to its ‘Book a Design Consultation’ form landing page. The firm will also be tasked with overhauling the brand’s marketing data and analytics capabilities which will aim to help inform showroom and in-store planning.

“We chose Croud as our digital marketing partner for two reasons,” Magnet head of digital marketing Adam Hart said. “Firstly, because of their strong track record for delivering on performance. But also because they are the right team to bring on in a consultancy capacity to guide us through our digital makeover. Croud’s capabilities will allow us to better understand the justification behind investing in certain channels and, crucially, equip us with the data to better communicate our strategies internally.”

Croud director of digital transformation Sophie Wooller added: “We have been appointed by Magnet at an exciting point in its digital evolution. The brand is ready to take digital marketing activity to the next level, and ensure its strong legacy in the brick-and-mortar retail space is replicated online too. We are focused on delivering the Magnet team with an effective roadmap and suite of tools for continued and improved online growth.”
