Havas London appoints new managing director

Havas London has promoted managing partner and head of account management Hollie Loxley to the position of managing director.

Working alongside the agency’s head of operations Shaun Musgrove, Loxley will focus on ensuring business success and growth in several key areas of Havas London such as people and culture, learning and development, commercial operations, and client business.

The appointment intends to further improve the B Corp-certified company’s leadership team and support its continued ‘momentum of creative excellence’.

During her time at Havas, Loxley has led accounts such as Molson Coors Beverage Company, Ella’s Kitchen, and NHS Blood and Transplant, which the agency won following a competitive pitch in 2022.

Prior to joining the ‘big six’ agency, the new managing director worked for FCB Inferno where she oversaw campaigns including ‘This Girl Can for Sport England’.

Loxley will report directly into Havas London CEO James Fox, who was recently promoted to the position by UK group CEO of Havas Creative, Xavier Rees.

“We’re building something special here at Havas London and Hollie represents what is special about this agency,” Fox said. “She is a modern empathetic leader, respected by her clients and by those who work with her, she is brilliantly entrepreneurial, and is a natural champion of the effective communications we’re creating as an agency.

“I’m so pleased she is our new MD – a role in which she will work closely with Shaun Musgrove, our newly appointed Head of Operations, to ensure we deliver to the standard that we’re setting ourselves. This is an exciting step forward for us and Hollie’s considerable influence will only make us better.”

Hailing from a working-class background, Loxley is also passionate about diversity, equity and inclusion, employee welfare and professional development.

Loxley added: “Havas London is a very special place – I knew that from the moment I first met Rees three years ago. Our status as a B Corp-certified organisation filters through our entire agency ethos. From the way we treat our people and how we work with our clients, to our approach to environmental and social impact, I can’t wait to help continue the positive and progressive work already being done here at Havas and within the wider industry.

“I’m thrilled to be appointed Managing Director and I’m excited to work alongside the rest of the leadership team to continue our positive momentum and take Havas London to the next stage. ‘’
