Macmillan career opportunities advert reflects the charity’s ‘authenticity and humanity’

Macmillan’s latest advertisement highlights the number of ‘exciting career opportunities’ available at the cancer support charity.

Created with Taylor Made Media and directed by Sticker Studios director Luke Brookner, the two-minute ad intends to authentically depict the work carried out behind the scenes at Macmillan and also showcase the humanity and unity existent in the organisation.

The charity believes that the new year is a ‘time for change and the start of something new’. For that reason, it has chosen to advertise a number of career opportunities available within the company.

“Join us and help us make every day count,” the charity wrote on Twitter.

“Having lost both my parents to cancer by the time I was seven, I felt extraordinarily moved by the brief to help Macmillan on their recruitment campaign,” Sticker Studios director Luke Brookner told LBBOnline.

“I know intimately how amazing the services they provide are and invaluable they are to those living with cancer. Working closely with TMM who had spent months understanding the different roles and parts of the MacMillan business and developing the creative proposition ‘make every day count’.

“Together, we wanted to create a film that united people with the Macmillan purpose because purpose is at the heart of everything they do. It was our job to reflect authenticity, humanity and show how fulfilling that work can be whatever part of the organisation that is to drive more people to work there.”
