Global ad tech firm Ogury has today (10 January) unveiled Geoffroy Martin as its new CEO, replacing the outgoing Thomas Pasquet who becomes chairman of the board.

Pasquet, who co-founded Ogury in 2015 and held the CEO role for eight years will now use his new role to help promote Ogury’s mission and vision externally.

With over a quarter-century of tech expertise, Martin is a veritable industry veteran having held senior leadership roles at companies such as Paris-based Criteo, and online retailer Art.com.

“I am fully confident in Geoffroy’s skills and wish him the very best in his new role as Ogury’s CEO. As I was preparing my transition to Chairman of the Board to focus on helping give Ogury the industry awareness and spotlight it deserves, our plan was to bring in a capable COO to the company, who would then move on to become its CEO when the time was right,” Pasquet said.

“With his outstanding track record in leading and growing organisations and extensive experience in ad tech, Geoffroy was the perfect candidate to take over and I’m excited to see where he will take the company.”

Martin will now be tasked with leading Ogury as a whole and will be responsible for setting and executing the firm’s strategy, mission, vision and culture in order to drive global expansion.

Martin himself added: “What Ogury has built is nothing short of exceptional, with our technology putting consumer privacy at its core since day one.”

“I strongly believe that personified advertising is the best sustainable solution for the open Internet. As the new CEO, I have big ambitions for Ogury and I’m honored to build on our strong foundation and lead the company toward its bright future.”
