H&M Move has signed one of women’s football’s best players Nadia Nadim, in a bid to inspire the next generation of young players.
In her debut campaign for the clothing brand, Nadim is welcomed by fellow football icon Zlatan Ibrahimović who challenges her to a game of table tennis.
The energetic one-minute spot is narrated by guest football commentator Guy Mowbray and sees Nadim beat Ibrahimović in a game that showcases the functionality of H&M Move’s collection.
Though Nadim has won titles in England and France for Manchester City and Paris Saint-Germain, and currently plays for Racing Louisville FC in the United States National Women’s Soccer League, the footballer hails from humble beginnings.
The icon was forced to flee Afghanistan as a child but soon moved from refugee status to international football star with more than 100 matches for the Danish national team. Nadim also speaks nine languages and is a Doctor of Medicine.
