M&S has released yet another Christmas single this year following the success of last winter’s festive hit which managed to reach the height of number two on iTunes.

The brand’s song – performed by the viral social media sensations who work in the M&S Romford Store – features East 17’s Terry Coldwell.

‘This is Not Just Another Christmas Song’ is an R&B-style tune of which all proceeds from sales will go towards local charity S.M.I.L.E London & Essex, which aids low-income families.

“S.M.I.L.E London & Essex are no strangers to the generosity of M&S,” S.M.I.L.E London & Essex CEO Maria Quaife said.

“We’ve received amazing financial support from them this yeart via the M&S Christmas campaign with Neighbourly.

”We were overwhelmed be extending this partnership by working alongside them with the release on the Christmas sequel ‘This is Not Just Another Christmas Song’.

The retailer’s festive campaign – in partnership with food redistribution network Neighbourly – is also aiming to raise £1 million for 1,000 local community groups who are struggling with the real-life consequences of the cost of living crisis.
