British gifting retailer Biscuiteers has this week launched its first-ever TV advertising campaign as it aims to showcase the creativity and talent of its in-house team.

Produced by Biscuiteer’s own creative team in collaboration with London-based Mother Studio, which handled animation and editing,  the 30-second TV spot will run from 7th – 20th November as the brand looks to build festive anticipation and increase public awareness.

The Nutcracker-inspired film showcases the brand’s entirely hand-iced festive collection, the ‘Nutcracker Biscuit Ballet’ – produced solely using stop-motion animation and real hand-crafted biscuits.

“We have always been aware of the power of TV not least for the way in which you can so effectively target your audience,” Biscuiteers founder, Harriet Hastings said.

“It’s become a tried and tested medium for the gifting industry, and with digital media becoming increasingly more expensive, it felt like the right route for us.

She continued: “We are hugely excited to launch The Nutcracker Biscuit Ballet which truly reflects the personality of the brand, and I’m enormously proud of the creativity and talent of our in-house team. We hope this campaign will bring festive joy to TV screens in the coming weeks.”

All the biscuit seen in the clip were hand-made by senior biscuit designer, Lucy Simmons, whilst the film itself was directed by creative content producer, Shabira Dowley.
