Smyths Toys Superstores has unveiled its 2022 Christmas ad featuring several of the year’s best toys.

The young protagonist Oscar interacts with many different toys in a fun ad that Intends to inspire imagination this Christmas season.

Appearances from the Ziggy the Robo Dog, Slashin’ Attack Therizinosauris, Spider-Man, Buzz Lightyear, and Minecraft’s Ender Dragon, are sure to excite the younger generations this year.

The launch of the toys brand’s ad will be supported by an integrated 360 marketing campaign featuring across TV, YouTube and social media platforms. Smyths Toys Superstores will also work with influencers to boost views and hold competitions.

“We’re so excited to unveil our new Christmas brand ad! With a brand-new song to ring in the holidays, Oscar is back with the best toys from this year. Kids can watch and rewatch the ad, to spot all their favourite toys,” Smyths Toys Superstores head of marketing, Sinead Byrne, said.

A two-minute version of the song that features in the commercial will also be available to stream today on all platforms including Amazon Music, Apple Music, Spotify, and YouTube Music.
