West Midlands Police, the UK’s second largest police force has this week partnered with Birmingham-based creative and digital agency Clevercherry to deliver their new ‘safer students’ campaign.
The project will look to support the local student community by providing them with an improved sense of wellbeing via assets delivered by user personas, branding and tone of voice, character development, photography and filming, and mobile first UX design and build.

To better deliver on its remit, Clevercherry completed a variety of research into user personas, prospective audiences, and character development as the campaign deals with a number of sensitive topics ranging from women’s safety to home security.
Following its official launch, the campaign is already being pointed to as a prime example of good practice for violence against women and girls messaging.
