Foot Locker has named South London rapper Cristale as the latest face of its ‘Powered By You’ campaign.
The ‘Powered by You’ initiative, which launched in 2021, aims to empower, inspire and create a more progressive future for all, regardless of gender, race, sexual orientation, size or ability.
Cristale stars in a campaign film to launch the platform, where she describes how despite her successes, she still feels like an outsider. The rapper, who has more than 50,000 followers on Instagram, also reveals how she’s driven, inspired and powered by introspection.

A 21-year-old rapper from South London, Cristale has been featured in BBC 1Xtra’s ‘Hot for 2022’ list and dropped viral hit ‘Bong Bing’ featuring Jamaican artist Laa Lee, which has close to 5M streams on YouTube and 600k+ video creations on TikTok.
The sportswear retailer said its partnership with Cristale elevates its “existing authentic connection to the UK and the city of London”, coming in the wake of recent launches such as the exclusive Nike TN Brixton and the refurbishment of the Clapham community basketball court.
Cristale – who says she feels ” truly blessed” to work on the Foot Locker campaign – has also helped to create looks in the ‘Powered By You’ collection including styles and colourways from brands including Nike, adidas and Puma.
