DLMDD serves up ‘new sonic identity’ for Heck sausages

Sonic branding agency DLMDD has created a new sonic identity for Yorkshire-based sausage brand Heck.

Titled ‘One Heck of a Flavour’ the campaign has been designed to reflect the brand’s ‘rural lifestyle meets urban attitude’ ethos, by offering what DLMDD calls a ‘catchy, quirky and energetic sound’ to better appeal to is broad customer base.

A suite of assets including a brand track, jingle and sonic logo has been produced, and is set to be pushed across all consumer communication channels such as advertising and online, alongside on hold music, festivals and trade shows.

Customers will also be able to hear Heck’s new sonic identity throughout the Yorkshire Dales as the brand’s meat wagon makes its way across the region.

“It’s a pleasure to work with such an authentic and well-loved brand as Heck, who have given us enormous creative license to produce a happy, genuine, fun-filled and memorable sound,” DLMDD brand music consultant, Erin McCullough said.

‘One Heck of a Flavour’ will set supermarket aisles across the country sizzling with a lyric that audiences won’t forget.”

Heck head of marketing, Jack Tate added: “We had great fun working with DLMDD to create the sound of HECK! The process to get to the final sonic suite was well structured, very engaging and the team at DLMDD were great at keeping us on track along the way.

“We love the sound we created and are super excited to get this track out to the world.”
