Fashion retailer Jigsaw yesterday (27 June) announced that it had appointed digital marketing agency Croud to revamp its online presence, reach new audiences and drive customer loyalty.

Following the reinvigoration of its online business with the onset of the pandemic, Jigsaw had been looking for an agency to manage its long-term digital strategy alongside its tried and tested high-street operations.

Consequently, Croud’s remit will include overseeing the retailer’s social and pay-per-click (PPC) activity alongside the production and development of digital-first assets in collaboration with Jigsaw’s in-house team.

At targeted push of promotional assets across social media platforms Pinterest and TikTok is set for July.

“We were impressed with Croud’s experience in the retail fashion and luxury fashion industry – they seemed to understand our challenges implicitly,” Jigsaw digital director, Raine Peake said.

“Over the last two years the brand has taken great strides in maturing our online presence and creating a single customer view.

She continued: “But we knew we needed an agency partner to, not only help take us to the next level – but to also push the boundaries on what we could achieve as a brand and look at widening our bullseye customer demographic, as the growth of online has opened up so many more opportunities to us.”

Cloud client strategy director, Caroline Buckingham added: “Jigsaw has a great product and laid an impressive foundation of quality first party data for us to work with.

“Our main focus will be then integrating this into digital, and implementing a robust testing roadmap, to expand Jigsaw’s market share in the UK.”
