Havas London retains £8 million government contract

Havas London has retained the Department for Education’s creative brief following a competitive pitch process.

The London agency has been re-appointed as the creative and strategy lead for the UK government department’s teacher recruitment business, winning a new, four-year contract worth over £8 million.

The firm’s previous work for the Department of Education outperformed all key performance metrics, with over 200,000 new teachers registering during the last recruitment cycle alongside a 10% increase in the pride in teaching score.

Havas’ first work under the new contract is expected to be rolled out in September of this year, with a larger brand campaign planned for September 2023.
