Yorkshire-based fitness retailer Exercise.co.uk, has partnered with former Olympian Roger Black MBE to stock equipment from his own fitness range.

The new range is set to include affordable exercise bikes and treadmills, with compact and foldable options alongside a silent rowing machine and cross trainer.

Having earned athletics medals at both the 1992 and 1996 Olympic games in Barcelona and Atlanta respectively, Black set up his fitness equipment business upon his retirement from the sport in 1998.

The brand partnership has come about through a shared philanthropic interest in the Cystic Fibrosis Trust, which is the Pure-Tec-owned firm’s nominated charity, whilst Black, who’s nephew suffers with the condition, became a Trust ambassador several years ago.

Roger Black Fitness equipment will be made available via the Exercise.co.uk website starting on Monday (13 June), with buy now, pay later options available.

“Exercise should be accessible to everybody, and that’s what the Roger Black Fitness stands for; keeping every body moving,” Roger Black MBE said.

“Partnering with exercise.co.uk was a no-brainer; there’s an incredible synergy between our brands and we’re very excited to be working with the team.”

Pure-Tec Limited managing director, David Gilson added: “It’s great to be working with someone who shares our values.

“The foundation of exercise.co.uk has always been to educate – we’re not just about selling gym equipment.

“Instead, we want to guide people through their health and fitness journeys, giving them the tools and knowledge to exercise in their own homes.”
