Parfetts appoints new head of marketing

Wholesaler Parfetts has strengthened its team by appointing Jamie Ferguson as its new head of marketing.

Ferguson will lead the marketing department, managing all aspects of the Parfetts brand and supporting the Go Local and The Local labels.

The news comes as the wholesaler develops a new range of price-marked propriety brands under the Go Local label and other new brands.

Ferguson brings 26 years of experience in wholesale and retail to the role, working for some of the UK’s leading marketing agencies. He has spent the last decade working on various leading symbol brands.

“Jamie is a talented marketer who brings a lot of experience to the role. He is already making an impact on our wide-ranging online and offline offering across B2B and B2C channels and supporting the rapid expansion of our own-label range,” Parfetts joint managing director Guy Swindell said.

“As we continue to grow, it’s important that our customers get the support they need in terms of impactful promotions and wider marketing.”
