McCann Worldgroup has named Fernando Fascioli as its UK and Europe regional president; succeeding the retiring Mark Lund in the role.
Fascioli has also been appointed chairman of the agency’s Latin America region.
He began his career at McCann’s Uruguay office in 1993 and was promoted to Latin America and Caribbean president in 2014. He had previously served as CEO at McCann Peru and McCann Chile.
The Uruguayan has spent 28 years with the company and has developed the agency’s scope in the Latin American market.

Commenting on his appointment McCann Worldgroup CEO and chairman Bil Kolb said: “Fernando brings many years of successful leadership across our global network to this expanded role, and we are thrilled to promote from within our own ranks for such an important regional leadership position.”
